Kling 4.0 is the next flagship video model from Kuaishou's Kling AI, announced on 27 September 2026 with a full release scheduled for October. The headline change is length and control: a single generation can now run 3 to 30 seconds at up to 4K, and the model accepts up to 15 mixed references — people, objects, scenes, even short clips — plus up to 10 keyframes to pin down the exact beats of a shot.
Two more pieces matter for anyone who actually makes videos rather than demos. Multi-shot continuation lets a sequence be extended shot by shot to around two minutes while keeping characters and setting consistent, and audio is generated natively in stereo alongside the picture. A lighter tier, Kling 4.0 Flash, opened to Kling's Ultra yearly subscribers on 28 September as an early preview.
None of this is available through any API provider yet, which is why this page is a waiting room rather than a workspace: the generator below runs Kling 3.0 Turbo, the same family's current fast tier. When Kling 4.0 reaches our upstream providers it appears here first, on the same credit pool, and this page switches to live.

Using Kling directly means a separate monthly plan (4.0 Flash is currently gated to Ultra yearly subscribers) and, for the Chinese service, a +86 phone number. Here every model in the catalogue shares one credit pool and one workspace. Kling 3.0 and 3.0 Turbo arrived this way; 4.0 will too.
A 30-second generation is a different economic object from a 5-second one. Every video model here bills per second of output with the number shown before you click, holds the credits during the run, and releases them if the job fails. Kling 4.0 will follow the same rule; its rate will be published on this page the day it goes live.

It is a length-and-control release, not a speed release — the people who gain most are the ones stitching shots together today.
Thirty native seconds with continuation to two minutes removes most of the stitching that multi-shot work needs now. If you are building narrative clips from 5-second pieces, this is the model to wait for.
