A finished layout, using your own pictures

A little space around the picture can be enough

Add an outer border to one photo for a social post, a small digital keepsake or a consistent image series. Start with a clean white margin, choose another color or explore selected member frames. The photo is placed inside the design; adding a border does not invent extra scenery beyond the image edges.

Only one photo is needed

Upload a picture directly; no collage or AI generation step is required.

Adjust the outer margin

Control how much space surrounds the image and choose the background color.

Free borders and member frames

A simple white border is free; selected decorative frames are a subscription benefit.

Let one good photo stay the focus

The example uses one coastal photograph with a restrained white border. A simple frame can separate a bright image from a busy feed without covering it in decoration. Begin with a modest margin, then check how much space the picture needs at the size where people will actually view it.

Change the frame without regenerating the photo

Try a different background color, corner radius or member frame around the same file. A frame changes the presentation rather than asking an AI model to redraw the subject. If you choose a different canvas proportion or template, inspect the crop again: a border is not a guarantee that every part of the original will remain visible.

What can you make with it?

A consistent photo series

Use similar margins and colors across several individually exported photos for a quieter feed.

AI art presentation

Give a finished generated image a clear frame without asking the model to re-create the artwork.

Digital keepsakes

Use a restrained frame and short caption for a location, date or event.

How to make your first design

  1. 01

    Upload one original image

Choose a supported photo from your device or an available CreateVision creation. The first image sets an initial canvas proportion.

  2. 02

Choose the border and check the crop

Adjust the outer margin, background and corner radius. Review the framing after switching templates or changing the canvas ratio.

  3. 03

    Export the framed picture

Select the final dimensions and format. Sign in to download free content, or use an active membership for a selected premium frame.

Why use a layout tool after generating images with ChatGPT?

AI image generation is useful for creating a scene, exploring a style or inventing a visual. Combining finished image files into a specific layout is a different task: you may need a specific number of photos, the same face in every source, equal gutters and a caption you can edit without generating the whole image again.

ChatGPT can attempt collage-like images and may also assemble files with code. This comparison concerns generating a new picture from a prompt, not every capability of a chat assistant. Image models can still struggle with precise placement in structured compositions; a layout editor gives you direct control over where existing files go. Read the image-model composition limitations

Generate with AI. Finish the layout here.

No need to replace the image model you already use. Keep the pictures you like, then combine them into one deliverable. You do not need to write prompts for margins, learn layers or connect your ChatGPT account.

  1. 01

    Create the individual images

Use CreateVision or another image service to create your pictures. Review faces, text and details before arranging them. Image generation follows its own pricing.

  2. 02

Bring the files into the editor

For CreateVision results, use the collage action or My creations. For pictures made with ChatGPT or another service, download the image files first, then upload them here.

    Choose the layout and download

Arrange the photos, check the crop in every slot, add labels if needed and choose the output size. Sign in for a free-content download, or use an active subscription for premium designs.

A few choices for a cleaner result

Begin with a narrow border

A very wide border can make the photograph feel small, especially on a mobile screen.

Keep text away from the edges

Check the whole result at its final size so captions do not become tiny or compete with the image.

Separate framing from image expansion

If you need new scenery outside the photo, use an image-expansion tool first. A colored border only adds a design area.

File support and export settings

Input formats
Static JPG, PNG and WebP. Convert HEIC, GIF, animated files and other formats before upload.
Upload limits
A project can keep up to 16 source photos; each file must stay within 10 MiB and 20 megapixels, with a 50 MiB combined limit. The selected template determines how many slots are shown.
Output dimensions
64–4096 pixels on either side, within 16 megapixels in total. Export size does not recreate detail missing from a small or blurry input.
Download formats
PNG for graphics and text; JPG or WebP for smaller photographic files. Check the file at its intended display size after compression.
Printing and social posts
Choose the final aspect ratio before adjusting crops. Pixels are not a print-size or DPI guarantee; confirm dimensions, bleed and safe areas with your printer or publishing platform.

Questions before you start

Can I add a white border for free?

Yes. Use a free border layout with a free solid background, set the outer margin and sign in to download. A design becomes a member design only when it includes a premium template or background.

Does adding a border expand the contents of my image?

No. The tool adds surrounding design space and positions the existing photo. It does not generate new scenery, reconstruct missing edges or remove an original watermark.

Can I keep the entire original image visible?

The initial canvas follows the first photo’s proportions approximately. Borders, captions and a different template can change the available slot shape, so check all edges and adjust the canvas or crop. The current editor does not offer a universal automatic no-crop guarantee.

Can I use images generated by ChatGPT or another AI model?

Yes. Download them as supported image files, then upload them here. This does not connect to your external account or regenerate the pictures. CreateVision images can also be selected from My creations when their source files remain available.

Will this change faces, invent details or remove existing watermarks?

No generative redraw is used. The editor crops, scales, rotates and places your input images. Export encoding can change pixels, and an existing watermark stays part of the input. Review source-image rights and any AI-service usage terms before publishing.

What is free, and when do I need an account?

You can upload, edit and preview without an account. Sign in to download a design containing only free layouts and backgrounds without a platform watermark. Selected premium layouts and materials require an active paid subscription for a clean preview and download.

Do premium templates cost credits or need a separate plan?

No extra tool plan or AI credits are required. Active Basic, Premium, Ultimate and Max subscriptions include all member layouts, styled frames, themed backgrounds and custom row-and-column grids. Credit packs and single-image original purchases do not unlock these benefits.

Where are my files processed and saved?

Free editing runs in your browser. Premium previews and exports use encrypted temporary cloud files with 24-hour access expiry and scheduled physical cleanup. Local drafts stay on this device for up to seven days. A fresh tool visit starts empty; use Resume previous draft or the same draft URL to continue your work.

Why does a photo look soft after export?

A low-resolution source, a heavy crop or strong JPG/WebP compression can soften detail. Start with the original file rather than a screenshot, keep important subjects inside the crop, and avoid exporting far beyond the input resolution. If the source itself needs enhancement, use a separate enhancement tool before arranging it.

Give your photo a frame that fits

Start with your own photos and a free layout. Adjust the result directly; no prompt-writing or layer-editing experience is needed.
