Why Do Video Face Swaps Usually Disappoint?
We built this around the three things people complain about in typical video face swap tools — and made each fix something you can verify on the samples above.
"The clip came back silent. In a meme the audio is the whole joke."
The original audio track is kept. Every sample on this page still has its sound.
"A logo in the corner on every free result — it looked like an ad for the tool."
No watermark at any tier. What you download is what you can post.
"They quietly downscaled my 1080p clip to 480p to save compute."
Output keeps the source resolution, frame rate and aspect ratio, up to 1080p.
How does video face swap work?
Video Face Swap replaces the face in a short MP4 with a face from a photo — and leaves everything else alone. The original audio track, resolution and frame rate come through unchanged and nothing is watermarked. Upload one clear face photo and a clip of 2 to 30 seconds; the price is shown before anything is charged. Every sample on this page was produced by this exact tool with the same source face.

Six Clips, Real Results
Every clip below was swapped by this tool — the small portrait on each card is the face that went in. Hover to play; the sound you hear is the original track, untouched.
Original
this faceNews anchor
A calm news-desk read — the steadiest lighting and the cleanest result. Lip movement follows the anchor's every word.
Original
this faceVlog
Handheld kitchen vlog, lively expression and hand gestures. Shows how the swap holds up when the head keeps moving.
Original
this faceBirthday toast
A toast at the dinner table with the original speech intact — the sample you'd actually send to the guest of honour.
Original
this faceAction scene
Walking away from an explosion without blinking. The meme shot, with your face on it.
Original
this faceStadium cheer
Fists up in the stands — the fastest head movement in this set, so you can judge the hard case for yourself.
Original
this facePodcast
Headphones and a studio mic. Partial ear coverage and a close-up mouth show how edges are handled.
What video face swap keeps from the original clip
Made for everyday people, not editors.
The Sound Survives
Most face swap tools hand the clip back silent, which guts it — in a meme, the audio usually is the joke. We deliberately picked a slower, pricier model because it is the only one that keeps the original AAC track and h264 encoding intact.
Nothing Stamped On It
No logo, no corner badge, no bar across the bottom. The file you download is the file you can post. Most free video face swap tools watermark their output; ours never does, at any tier.
Your Resolution, Not Ours
The result comes back at the size you uploaded, up to 1080p — we do not downscale it to 480p to save on compute. Frame rate and aspect ratio follow the source too.
Priced Before You're Charged
We read the real length out of your file and show the exact credit cost before anything is deducted. A clip that's too long or too large gets told so up front rather than failing eight minutes in.
No Flicker, No Mask
The most common complaint about video face swaps is a face that wobbles between frames or sits on the head like a mask. Ours is swapped frame by frame against the original, so expression, lip movement and head turns carry through — check the samples above.
Your Face Stays Yours
Uploads and results are private to your account. Source files are cleared on a short cycle, nothing is published, and your face is never used to train anything.
Where people swap a face in video
Real moments, ready to share — pick the one that fits.
Put Yourself in the Clip
The scene everyone already quotes, with your face on it. Clips where the expression and the line do the work land best — recognition is the whole joke.

Birthdays and Send-Offs
Drop the guest of honour into a clip they will never live down. With the audio intact it plays properly on a phone passed around a table.

Drafts and Pitches
Show a client or a collaborator what a cut would look like with a different face in it, before committing to a reshoot.

Swap a face in a video clip in 3 steps
Three small steps to a video you'll actually want to send.

🧑Step 1:Upload a Face
One clear, front-facing photo. Even light, whole face visible, no sunglasses or hat. This is the face that gets used.

🎬Step 2:Upload the Clip
An MP4 between 2 and 30 seconds, up to 1080p. We read its real length and show you the price before charging anything.

⬇️Step 3:Download It
You get an MP4 back at the same size and frame rate, with the original audio and no watermark.
Pick a Clip. Put Your Face in It.
Two uploads, audio intact, no watermark, and you see the price before anything is charged.
Questions about video face swap
Yes — the original AAC audio track is preserved, and the video stays h264. This is worth saying plainly because it is not the norm: we tested cheaper models that run four times cheaper and every one of them returned a silent clip, one of them in a 1999-era codec that many phone browsers will not play. We took the slower, more expensive option specifically to keep your sound.
Between 2 and 30 seconds. The lower bound is because anything shorter is not really a clip; the upper bound is processing time — a 30-second clip at 1080p takes close to seven minutes, and past that nobody waits.
20 credits plus 14 per second of clip. So 2 seconds is 48 credits, 5 seconds is 90, and 30 seconds is 440. The reason there is a base fee rather than a flat per-second rate: every job carries a fixed setup cost regardless of length, so a pure per-second price would quietly overcharge long clips and undercharge short ones.
Your first swap is free — one per network, for clips up to 5 seconds, no credits touched. After that a free account has a one-time 200 credits and can spend up to 80 a day, so a 2-second clip (48 credits) fits inside a single day. It is a genuine try, not an unlimited free tier. Our GIF face swap is the cheaper way to keep experimenting at 40 credits a go.
It looks like a face swap, not like new footage. The face is convincingly replaced and the lighting matches, but at a close crop you may see a soft edge where the new face meets the original. Clips where the head stays roughly front-on give the cleanest result; extreme angles, heavy motion blur and very fast cuts are the hard cases.
Roughly six seconds of processing per second of clip at 480p, and about two and a half times that at 1080p — so a 5-second 480p clip is under a minute, and a 30-second 1080p clip is closer to seven. The estimate is shown before you start, and you can leave the page while it runs.
