A slowed, roomy version of a hook sits under talking or a montage without fighting the voice. Trim to the first 15 or 30 seconds and export a vertical video in one go.

  • Lo-fi and late-night playlist makers

Slowed + reverb is the quickest way to give an upbeat song a calm, after-hours mood for study or sleep mixes.

  • Artists making their own tracks

Make a song with the AI Rap Generator, then open it here with one click to try a slowed or nightcore version before you release.

  • DJs and editors

Audition a slowed idea in seconds and export a WAV to finish the edit in your DAW.

How to Make a Slowed and Reverb Song

Three steps, no software to install, and your file never leaves your device.

  1. 1

    Drop in your track

MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG or FLAC, up to 100 MB and 15 minutes. The song is decoded inside your browser tab — nothing is uploaded to a server.

  2. 2

    Pick a preset, then fine-tune

Start from Slowed + Reverb (0.85× speed, 40% reverb) or TikTok Slowed, then drag Speed, Reverb, Room and Bass boost while it plays. Flip between Original and With effect to hear exactly what changed.

  3. 3

    Download audio or a video

Save an MP3 or a WAV in seconds. Or add a cover image and export an MP4 with a moving waveform, sized 9:16 for TikTok and Reels, 16:9 for YouTube or 1:1 for Instagram.

Frequently Asked Questions

1

Is this slowed and reverb generator free?

Yes. Previewing and downloading MP3 or WAV files is free with no sign-up and no watermark. Exporting an MP4 video is also free; it only needs a free account.

2

Is my song uploaded anywhere?

No. The audio is decoded, processed and encoded inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to our servers, and closing the tab removes it.

3

Why does the song sound lower when I slow it down?

Speed and pitch move together here, the way a record sounds when you slow the turntable. That drop in pitch is a big part of the classic slowed sound. Speed it up past 1.0× and the pitch rises instead — that is nightcore.

4

What is the difference between slowed + reverb, daycore and nightcore?

Slowed + reverb lowers the speed (usually 0.80–0.87×) and adds a large, soft room. Daycore is also slowed but drier. Nightcore goes the other way: faster and higher, often around 1.25×. The table above lists the exact values each preset uses.

5

Which file formats work?

MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG and FLAC usually work; the limit is what your browser can decode. Files up to 100 MB and 15 minutes are supported. You can download the result as MP3 or WAV.

6

Can I post my slowed version on TikTok or YouTube?

The tool only changes the audio you give it; the rights to the original song stay with its owners. Platforms may detect copyrighted music in your upload, and using a remix commercially needs permission from the rights holders. Songs you made yourself — for example with our AI Rap Generator — are the simplest to share.

7

Does it work on my phone?

Previewing and MP3/WAV downloads run in current mobile browsers. Video export needs a browser that can encode video (recent Chrome, Edge or Safari) and is fastest on a computer.

8

How long does an export take?

A short clip renders in a few seconds. A full song as MP3 or WAV usually takes well under a minute on a laptop, and a full-length video takes a little longer because every frame is drawn in your browser.
