What the model actually does
Wan 3.0 parses the text, numbers and structure of your file and composes a video around them: headline, key points, product visuals, matching motion and music. It does not screen-record your slides; it makes a new video that tells the same story. For a literal slide-by-slide recording, use PowerPoint's own export.
Three ways to turn a PDF into a video
Searching for "ppt to video" usually means one of three different jobs. They need different tools, so here is the honest map before you upload anything.
1. Built-in export (PowerPoint only)
In PowerPoint choose File → Export → Create a Video, pick 1080p or 4K, decide whether to use recorded narration and slide timings, and save the MP4. It is free and keeps every slide, animation and font exactly as designed. Google Slides and PDFs have no equivalent: you would screen-record, or export to PPTX first.

Which file types can I convert?
PPTX, PPT, PDF, DOCX, DOC, XLSX, XLS, Keynote (.key), TXT and Markdown, up to 100 MB and 50 pages. Google Slides: download as PPTX or PDF first.
Does it keep my slide design?
No. The model reads the content and creates a new video in the style you describe. Your fonts, layouts and animations are not reproduced. If you need an exact recording of the slides, export from PowerPoint or Keynote instead.
How long does it take?
A 10-second 720p clip usually takes 5 to 10 minutes; 30 seconds at 1080p can take 15 minutes or more. You can leave the page: the task continues on the server and shows up in your history.
What does it cost?
480p is 40 credits per second, 720p is 80, 1080p is 160. A 10-second 720p video is 800 credits. The document input is free, and failed or timed-out jobs are refunded automatically.
Is my document stored?
The file is uploaded to a temporary folder that is deleted after 24 hours and passed to the model provider only for the duration of the job. Do not upload documents you are not allowed to share.
Can I download an MP4?
Yes. Every result is an H.264 MP4 you can download from the page or from your history, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.
Does the video have audio?
Yes. Wan 3.0 generates native audio that fits the clip: music, ambience and speech where your description asks for it. It does not read your speaker notes aloud as a voiceover. If you want a narrated version of the deck itself, use a slide-to-video converter instead.
Is it free?
Uploading and previewing is free. Generating costs 40 to 160 credits per second depending on quality, so a 5-second 480p clip is 200 credits and a 10-second 720p clip is 800. Free accounts get 80 credits a day, which is not enough for one clip; a Basic plan or a credit pack is needed. Failed and timed-out jobs are refunded.
Can I use Google Slides or Keynote?
Keynote .key files upload directly. Google Slides has no direct upload: choose File → Download → PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) in Slides, then upload that file. There is a dedicated Google Slides to video page with the same pipeline.
How is this different from PowerPoint's own Export to Video?
PowerPoint's export plays your slides as they are, with your timings and any narration you recorded, for free. Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Upload from the browser on any device. Rendering runs on the server, so you can close the tab; the finished clip appears in your history and can be downloaded later.
Does a scanned PDF work?
Not well. The model reads text, and a scanned image-only PDF gives it almost nothing. Run OCR first or export the text to a DOCX, then upload that.
